SBS APPOINTED OWNER'S PROJECT MANAGER IN MARLBOROUGH, MA

The Massachusetts School Building Authority has confirmed the appointment of Strategic Building Solutions as the Owner’s Project Manager for the renovation of the Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School. The facility is approximately 400,000 square feet and has been well-maintained. However the entire facility requires modernization/update in order to serve the next generation of students and to realize significant cost savings energy efficiencies.  The school, which includes about 1,000 students from seven communities – Berlin, Hudson, Marlboro, Maynard, Northboro, Southboro and Westboro – was built in 1973. Since then, the only major capital project was a roof replacement done in 1986. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2012.
