SBS SELECTED AS COMMISSIONING SERVICE PROVIDER FOR NEW YORK-PRESBYTERIAN HOSPITAL

SBS Selected As Commissioning Service Provider for New York-Presbyterian Hospital SBS has been selected to serve as the sole commissioning service provider for the eastern portion of the NYP/Columbia campus and the NYP/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital, located in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan. The scope includes all projects within the Presbyterian Building, Vanderbilt Clinic, Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital, the William Black Building, the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Harkness Pavilion, Service Building, Harkness Eye Institute, and Harkness Eye Research. At present, SBS is providing commissioning services for nearly 20 projects with a construction value of $120 million. Projects include:

  • Antepartum unit
  • NICU renovation and expansion
  • PICU renovation
  • Pediatric subspecialty clinic
  • Pediatric oncology pharmacy renovation
  • Automated and manual pathology laboratories
  • Radiology Department office relocation
  • Bone marrow transplant unit
  • Architectural and MEP upgrades to the Harkness Eye Institute
  • Electrical infrastructure replacement in the Harkness Eye Institute
  • Emergency Department X-ray and CT-imaging facilities
  • Emergency Department overflow observation beds
  • Renovation and expansion of the emergency department
  • Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program facility
  • Work Force relocation
