The Pingry School Leola and Amos Hostetter Arts Center
Martinsville, New Jersey
The Pingry School was founded in 1861 and serves 1,000 students in grades K-12 on two campuses in central New Jersey. The new 30,000 square-foot arts center provides new spaces for visual and performing arts including fine art studio and gallery space. New band and chorus rehearsal spaces are designed with complete sound isolation systems in the walls, ceilings, and HVAC systems. The new 250-seat theatre has rigging and lighting capabilities to support major student productions.
SBS served as the Owner’s Representative providing comprehensive Project Management and Building Commissioning services. In this capacity, SBS was directly responsible for the project planning, budgeting, construction oversight, commissioning, move coordination and closeout of the project.
