The Pingry School
New Middle School
Martinsville, New Jersey

The new Middle School is designed to accommodate a realignment of the grade structure of the school to provide distinct dedicated facilities for 6^th, 7^th and 8^th graders. The facility is linked to the upper school and located on the Martinsville campus. The new school includes general classrooms, science classrooms/laboratories, administrative spaces and a large two-story common area for school wide events.

SBS served as the Owner's Representative providing comprehensive Project Management and Building Commissioning services. In this capacity, SBS was directly responsible for the project planning, building programming, budgeting, design/construction oversight, commissioning, move coordination and closeout of the project.

The project was completed in December 2006 with a project budget of approximately $12 million for the new 30,000 square foot facility.
